Palm Sunday

Palm Sunday is very festive at our church. We try to go to bed early on Saturday night since we have to scoot quite a few little bodies out the door early. The kids always participate in the service with palms and hosannas.
Love our church friends who have taken more
than a few of our kids under their wings.
This great guy is always good for a laugh.
Now the problem with Palm Sunday, quite frankly, is the palms.
Quite tricky to get a good picture with all that waving.
 Still only got one.
 Nope, not quick enough.
Still no luck. It's a jungle in there.
 There you are sweet boys.
Joshua was pleased to wave his palm branch.
And sangs all the songs in perfect English.

He has delighted in learning the story of Jesus and his triumphal entry into Jerusalem. Looking through the eyes of a child who hears the story for the first time makes it new all over again for the rest of us.
Oh, I see how it is. Enough with the camera already.
Or we just might be our typical three and four year old selves.
