Isn't it strange when something starts popping up?
Anywhere and everywhere you look?
It kind of begins to grab your attention!
Perhaps it's a message?
Or maybe a gift?
My Bible study? Joy was there.
Then Brother James has this to say in his first chapter:2 Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, 3 because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. 4 Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. 5 If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.
This summer, the pursuit of Joy has shown me how "immature, incomplete, and lacking in wisdom" I tend to be when I expect life to go my way. I am eternally grateful that God continues to give generously. May there be more of him and less of me!

I am so excited for you all. Our homestudy is being reviewed today and tomorrow by our primary agency. If all is well a final draft should be there by the end of next week. Then all the authenticating can begin.. we are having our agency take care of that part. Then off to china our dossier goes. This is our first adoption so we are nervous and excited and impatient.
