Jerrod passed his driver's test yesterday.

When he came out in the morning in a scuzzy t-shirt, I quietly suggested that a collar shirt might make a better impression. Never saw that boy turn around so fast. One for Mom.
One quick call to the insurance company followed by a few rules and an admonition to not become a statistic and then:
Take the car and go.
Please just go!
When they are ready, they are ready.
I'm glad we waited.
Proud of that boy.
Congratulations! Our daughter took the driving test again this week and will again have to return. She has anxiety issues, so she only took it the first time last year (at 19; did driver's ed at 16). She was really ready, but cannot parallel park. Personally I think it's time that was dropped from the to do list. I don't ever see anyone trying to do it who can't do it. They just keep driving around until they find another spot. It will have to wait, now, because she's back in college and out of the state before the 10 days are up. Going to get my UPS driving brother in-law to take her out before then, I hope.
