Lap Time
Chain reaction! As soon as one gets a good idea, the rest follow suit. We made it work. I have so many helpers. How lucky could I be?
All looking at the camera. Must be a miracle.
Real Life - Monday Morning
Monday started out nicely. We made scrambled eggs with cheese and home fries and even found a stray package of turkey hot dogs. Erika is doing the honors today.
Delicious!
It is an idyllic setting as the food sizzles and Mozart plays in the background. Just another Monday morning, NOT! Wait a minute. It is awfully quiet. Where are the boys? We conduct an all out search.
Found them. Aren't they the cutest. They went and found Rosy and climbed in with her. Instead of reprimanding them, I took pictures. After all it is Monday morning.
She is their sister and they love her.
There were other shenanigans along the way. Pants on the head? Shirt on the legs?

And a vacuum blaring in the background....
Good thing Mondays only come around once every seven days.

My Real Life Guitar Heros
WE WIlLL, WE WILL,....ROCK ON.....ROCK ON! We know how to rock on in this family. Broom guitars are so cool. Well, my kids are so cool.
This one has the moves.
This one is pretty silly and fun.
They make an awesome rock band.
Not to be outdone by these two!
Decked out in appropriate eyewear with pint sized cleaning (weapons) tools.
These guys are the coolest sweetest rockstars I know.
I'm jammin'.
I'm cute.
Putting it all together.
Micah is having technical difficulties with his..ahem..."guitar."
Slammin'.
Ultra cool!
Making the moves.
Criss cross!
Too much fun!
Singin' the blues.
Oh yeah, baby.
The eyewear is fashionable, don't you think?
Lurking in the hallway.....I caught this one looking in the mirror.
Okay, you have to do it too.
She can rock out like nobody's business.
Love the smile.
We can't leave this one out.
Future rock star.
Double protection.
I love these silly kids.
This one has the moves.
Erika's Special Day
This smilin' beauty's last night as a "10." She will always be a "10" in my book.
She picked Red Velvet cake for her special day. Never made that before. What the heck does red velvet taste like? A drape? That's all I can think of. Isn't it great when your cake matches your wall?
How awesome is this when they get old enough to want to frost their own cake?
She is doing a fabulous job with the butter cream frosting.
Oh dear, we forgot the candles. Erika ran to the cupboard to find the candles she had hastily picked out and plopped them on the cake.
Oh, here they are. All 11 of them.
Our fearless self-proclaimed fire starter.
Can't seem to get it started....
O.K. we got them all lighted. I mean lit! I cannot tell you how many matches it took.
She looks utterly impressed.
Here goes the first blow!
Only to discover...
that she picked out the sparkler candles, accidently I think. Wish I had a sound byte, oh did we laugh.
She tries again. She huffs...
and did she do it? Alas.....
to no avail.
And then she puffs...
until she conquers the sparkler candles!
That was hard work! Well done wonderful girl!
