We live in the pine barrens.
With a lot of pitch, pine needles, and pollen.
But my kids don't care!
They make applesauce out of apples.
Pine needles also stick in African American hair beautifully!
After apple picking, we stopped at the Big Red Chair.
Erika took the kids out for pictures while big people looked at furniture. Imagine taking 8 kids to a furniture store? Speaking from experience, they scatter and try everything. No couch is un-sat-upon, no drawer is unopened, beds are tested for bounciness, and I'm kidding, but they did sit on all the couches.
Cousins. Erika takes sweet pictures.
The big red chair was not built for a crowd.
I was told that the back slats were bending....
I love how Carlson is holding on for dear life.
Grandma and Grandpa got in on the action.
Grandma and Grandpa wanted to celebrate and in honor of our Asian sensation. we went out to a nice Chinese restaurant.
With beautiful flowers made out of turnips maybe?
Uncle Tom and Farmor joined us at the big table
smack dab in the middle of the restaurant.
One HAPPY boy. He spoke Chinese to the owner who did a complete double-take. Then he got shy when the young girl tried to talk to him, He did get what he wanted on the menu, though. Knowing Chinese comes in handy.....
And then there was tea.
The kids had a blast.
Doesn't he have a great smile?
Thank you, Grandma and Grandpa, for taking us out to eat.
Who knew all that food would disappear?
